
Garbanzos Fritos
Ingredients:
• 2 (15-oz.) cans chickpeas
• 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp. Spanish smoked paprika
• 2 tsp. salt
• 2-4 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease two baking sheets.
2. Drain and rinse chickpeas, then dry on paper towel. Combine flour, paprika and salt in a large bowl. Add chickpeas and toss to coat evenly. Drizzle 2 to 4 tablespoons olive oil over chickpeas and toss to coat evenly. Transfer chickpeas to prepared baking sheets. Bake until exterior is crispy, about 30 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 7 cups.
